The building and landscape is beautifully sculptured. The scenery is pretty cool if standing on campus grouds sinc there's a lot of trees in washington. There is also a bay close by.

There's not much of a social life. The clubs and organizations of student body is somewhat dull. There is also many internation students here. Mainly korean and japanese foreign exchange students.

So far, almost all of my instructors were pretty good. I got what I needed to know out of every class.

The roads aren't that good around highline. Most of the time, it breaks down and you drive through pot holes.

Social life is boring for citizens, but the educational experience is good as average.

The city that the school is in, Des Moines is a dump! Road construction is always going on, with more destruction than construction. I've often seen hookers walking along Pacific Ave when going to night classes and males (mostly African American) roaming around making scenes at gas stations, etc.

There is a real mixture of things good and bad that you would normally find at a junior college. There are some teachers that are really good and you would expect should be at a university and then there are teachers that should never have thought of teaching. The student body is generally not too bad. The library has some older books which you can expect at a junior college, but the staff does not seem to maintain the building very well. Students are constantly yelling in the library as if it were the student union and it is hard to study under those conditions.

Nice 3 floor computer building. I have mixed thoughts of the Computer Information System department. As of 2002-2004 the UNIX instruction was horrible. The Network Admin program, however, is worth checking out.
