Because college is often an extension of academics from high school, it is definately true that habits formed in high school carry over to college. Try to be as organized as possible now because those habits will carry you through life.

College was not as helpful for me as "the world" promises. Largely speaking, I held the same jobs before & after school & didn't find I had more opportunities. Getting a convertible (I am a cute, redhead) got me more attention, money, & respect at work than my education seems to have.

The faculty are great and student life in general was a wonderful experience for me. I never expected to learn as much as I did. I graduated previously from another school and I never would have known what was missing if I hadn't gone to LBI. The downside of LBI is that the administration can be difficult to deal with. Some of them were downright mean. Even so, I only ever had one difficult experience with a professor. Maybe I expected too much of the accounts people.
