North Seattle Community College was a very good school when I first began attending in 1997. Slowly the school deteriorated. A lot of school funding was cut and that affected how many classes were offered. More and more classes were cancelled. I found my professors to be very helpful and attentive towards me for the most part. Students here were nicer than in other schools I've attended like Bellevue Comm. College and my high school, Interlake. Despite their niceness I found them to be busy with their bottom line. Seattleites are aloof, distant and not direct. Most students have families already so that made it hard for me to make friends because I was 16 at the time. The few friends I had didn't last because of our age differences. Cafeteria food SUCKS and it's expensive. They also tax you on the food. In general I say North Seattle is a good school to go to if you are majoring in something technical or business like. If you want to study the arts, go to Seattle Central, they rock. Other than that NSCC is sadly becoming one of those used to be good schools.
