Not so bright
This is my second year at WSU and my experience has been nothing short of a disappointment. I really tried to like this place, I did. As a whole, the student body is homogenous, cold and uninterested in learning. The professors cannot lecture without pre-made notes and read power points verbatim from their slides. While the general population of Pullman is friendly, its a dumpy, boring town. You may like this place if you're determined to spend 4 years of your life developing cirrhosis of the liver and being treated like a number. If you're looking for an institution who spends your tuition dollars on a brand new football stadium while the academic programs sit in ruin, then this is your university. If you desire a meaningful education, keep looking.

As a transfer student, I was ecstatic to start at WSU, where I would meet an array of interesting, progressive thinkers and forge lifelong friends. Shortly after arriving to Pullman, I realized that would only be a dream. Stepping onto campus is like stepping back into high school, except on larger scale. This time around, you're stuck with 10,000 former jocks and prom queens. As a whole, the students are aloof, unfriendly, unapproachable, and self-absorbed. Out of fear of not being "cool", the student body is largely void of any personality...Save for the rude tones! Even the RA's and student leaders only possess a fake politeness; They'd rather not have anything to do with you. The professors are interested only in research, assigning homework through 3rd party websites, where you have to pay an extra fee, and issuing multiple choice tests (talk about LAZY!) that don't truly gage your understanding of the material. If you're a girl, don't even think about having a sense of humor, or personality for that matter! I was much happier with my education and experience at community college. Unless you want to relive your high school days in a superficial, sport-centered, drunken purgatory, save your money ( and happiness) and go elsewhere!

I could not get out of Pullman fast enough! I finished one semester and was out of there. I went to WSU on a limb basically, bad idea! There is nothing to do and you will go insane if you are not in the greek life or want to party 24/7. My advice? Tour the campus before going and get to the know city. If you are not in love do not go!
