 | Quite Bright | I'm a freshman this year, and I love it here at Western. The feel of the campus is warm and inviting-- it makes it feel like home. The faculty I've worked with have been very passionate about what they teach and the students are here to learn, too. It's not a party school here, so if you're looking to go out drinking every night I wouldn't recommend it. If you're looking for a open, warm, diverse campus with laid back individuals Western is the school for you! I am so happy about my decision to come here! | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B+ | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | WWU has its flaws. Like most colleges do from time to time they've messed up on my student account and been difficult to work with. On the whole through I'd highly recommend this school. I majored in environmental science and am going on to grad school. The major wasn't tough enough, but I was able to get into the chem and math classes needed to make me competitive in grad school. Classes were small and taught by professors. The city of Bellingham is amazing. If I could move back there I would. Plenty of really good restaurants, things to do, community events, and outdoors things to do. Most people here are really liberal, to the point of being annoying. I?m pretty darn liberal, but I don?t feel the need to have a different protest every week about what I think. One thing I really loved about Bellingham was that the community didn't resent the college students. Yes there are way too many cops, but the actual people are pretty nice. Bar scene could be better, but there were a few good places to go. | Innovation: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B | | | |

| | Quite Bright | The Environmental Studies program offered at WWU's Huxley College of the Environment is simply wonderful. My focus was environmental education, and it was a very fun, challenging, and life-changing experience. The seminar-style classes, field work, close-knit relationships with professors, and abundant resources helped to prepare me for a career in the field. The core courses were interesting and class sizes were between 35-100. Living in the dorms allowed me to make many friends, and school-sponsored activities took place each week. My business degree friends always spoke highly of their professors, but I can only personally speak of the Environmental Studies program: it is GREAT. | Education Quality: A+, Campus Aesthetics: F | | | |
