Positive Negative Neutral Advice
At orientation they talked about how helpful theAverageEducation
At orientation they talked about how helpful the instructors are and this is not true. There has been many occasions where I sent numerous emails to my instructors and never get a response. The whole "no grade" system is simply unfair. How they explain it in orientation is seems like the best thing ever but in reality you really don't know how your really doing. I had an instructor who would give me feedback and say next time to this but overall excellent and i'll get a satisfactory on the assignment but after receiving my progress report she put that I'm at risk of failing the class? I don't understand. I'd rather get a letter grade "c" if that's what I deserve vs. failing the course because instructors only have two choices to give . The dorms have mice SERIOUSLY and they are doing nothing about it except mouse traps that have been around for years. Mice are not stupid anymore to fall for cheese on wood.

Question
I love Alverno.BrightOther
I love Alverno. It has woken me up from a bad education trip I was on and is preparing me very well to go to my two furture schools. This school is not for everyone but if you are a self motivated individual and good at taking feedback and letting it be a good thing like a way to improve then this is for you if you think you are already perfect and have no room for improving and have no sense of where you are going then i'd go to a bigger school like a university.

Question
School here is just so-so.Quite BrightNursing
School here is just so-so. Not great. Be careful, advisors are very busy and tend not to get paperwork done in a timely fashion. Some are dishonest and will deny what they have said when they have made mistakes. Classes tend to have very arbitrary grading based on teachers opinion of students, and not on actual work. I am a postbach student returning for second degree and fear that there have been few improvements from previous experience here.
