This is the worst school I have attended,

Jan 14 2013History/Histories (art history/etc.)
This is the worst school I have attended, receiced no help from teacher or faculty. It ws clear that they are too busy or think it is acceptable to dismiss students. I am speaking as an adult student that needed very basic assistance.

Maybe someday UW Eau Claire will be be considered an a school, but they have a long way to go. I would not suggest considering this school, because it is not a school worth the time and effort.

I love Eau Claire

I love Eau Claire. It is a gorgeous campus with a lot of friendly people. You get to know a lot of people around you, but there are always more to meet.

There's really not much to do at night, but really it's what you make of it. If you want to go out and have fun, really it doesn't matter where you go, you could even stay in your dorm and hang out with friends. Sometimes it gets a little boring, but I made amazing friends so it's ok.

The intramural sports are a little difficult to get into becuase you need to have a whole team set up and registered and being new I was a little confused on that. But I found a few teams to play with and it was a blast!

If you're looking for a big city exciting life, it's not here. The hill sucks but the food isn't bad.

Class-wise this isn't bad

Class-wise this isn't bad. But don't even THINK of bringing a car here. You have to either live on campus or within walking distance. Parking permits are hundreds of dollars and not even half the students are guaranteed a spot. On top of that, those without permits (or who can't find spots) are forced to park in the surrounding neighborhood, leading to nearly 3/4 mile walk to school. Think of doing that in -13 wind chill days. Frostbite, anyone? The school is pushing to put more stop signs in the 'parking neighborhood' instead of putting up a freaking parking garage. They also just spent about 30 million dollars on a new student center and they're building a new education center. Both things they did not need. Did I mention to make these new buildings they cut on-campus parking by 40%?
