Although it is a small college town, the city has basically all a person needs. What's more a UWEC student can get a free ride with their IDs in Eau Claire. The modern era allows people to discover the world in a way that was previously available only to the privileged. If you don't want to pay an exorbitant amount for school and don't want to learn alone at the computer then consider universities like UW- Eau Claire prudent places to expand your mind. I feel the education and career preparation I received was top-notch. My professors were extremely knowledgeable and approachable.
