I had a great time at UWGB but I wasn't afraid to put myself out there. I went to Orgsmorg (a huge fair where all of the student organizationss on campus recruit new students) and signed up for as many things as I found interesting. I got to know a lot of people who were interested in the same things I was.

My department was small but it was intimate. We got to know the professors and they even hosted events at their homes. It was amazing they knew what my potential was and they were able to push me to succeed to my potential.

The more active and involved I became, the more I grew to love the university, my fellow students, the professors, and the community.

LOVED the bathrooms in the Residence Halls. And LOVED the tunnels that connect all of the academic buildings.

Beautiful campus if you like the nature scene. If you're looking for an urban setting - this is not it. (But I LOVE IT).I recommend getting involved - if you stay in your room and wait for something to come to you - it won't happen and you won't like it at UWGB.

The only thing i like about the school is the kress center. They have good excercize equiptment and fitness instructors for classes. The rest is downhill for me. Everyone goes home on the weekends. A large majority of the students here are unfriendly and judgemental. I have lost a lot of confidence being here due to how rude the students here are. I have been here for months, and i have met two people who are actually friendly and nice. I really want to transfer. Green Bay is a great city if you get to the total opposite side of the city (over by lambeau and the mall) otherwise your stuck in a forest which only has a gas station and a subway nearby. I really wish i would have thought this decision through more carefully!

There are tunnels between academic buildings, bathrooms in every room or apartment, and ample parking space. The campus itself is slightly isolated from the city, with hiking trails in the woods around it. Extracurricular activities are available almost every night of the week, and intramural sports are huge on campus.
Faculty Accessibility: A+, Innovation: B
