| Super Brilliant | The bible! Have you ever read it? Well, i have read it 123 times in the last 4 months. Both, old and new testament! I can read it with my eyes closed. The reason i'm telling you this is because when you come to Appalachian Bible College, you transform into a bible-o-phile (Ha ha). But, on a serious note, I have met Jesus Christ at this University, playing golf with the Nuns. He is a true gentleman and may his God/father bless him. In this university, we are made to appreciate our genitalia, no matter how small it is. We roam around the university naked whenever we feel like because of the liberal atmosphere. We hope Jesus is watching us. We truly do. | Scholastic Success: A+, Useful Schoolwork: D+ | | | |

| Quite Bright | ABC's impact on my life is still being felt today. I started out teaching Kindergarten, eventually getting a second BA degree in elem ed with a Social Science Group Major. For the last 9 years I have been teaching secondary Bible in 2 Christian schools. My foundation came from ABC. It was not my intent when I graduated to teach school, but to be a pastor's wife. God had other plans, and He continues to amaze me as I teach His Word to Jr and Sr High school students. Thank you Dr. Pinter for all those days in Theology classes when you let us argue with you to better know what we believed! Thank you Mr. Chesley for all those writing assignments you made us do! It has come in handy, not only in my teaching, but being able to complete my Master's degree in Education. | Starting Job: Kindergarten Teacher, Preparedness: A, Reputation: A+ | | |

| Bright | I am an alumnus with fair involvement and am a former resident of the area. If the following traits are a match for you, you will surely enjoy college life at ABC. If not, continue looking. ABC has an attractive and ever-expanding campus, not great but better than average dorms, an adequate library, and a wonderful family atmosphere. The price is outstanding. Christian charactor is modeled and stressed. The faculty is small, but qualififed and involved in student's lives. Don't be deceived in thinking this is "Hicktown, USA"! Bradley/Beckley is a beautiful growing, friendly community surrounded by wonderful state and national parks. A mall provides jobs and shopping in walking distance of ABC. Students are warmly received by area churches. Your education is limited to very conservative, "fundamental" thought and practice. There will be no "thinking outside the box". Local churches that use praise music, small group ministry, or non-traditional forms of evangelism are off limits, even if the church is sound in doctrine, and these practices are highly criticized by some instructors. As for the more conservative campus guidelines, most students endure rather than embrace them. | Starting Job: Youth Pastor, Preparedness: B+, Reputation: C | | |

| Bright | Appalachian Bible College offers a quality, accredited education. In recent years this college has moved towards militant fundamentalism and hyper-separationalism, although the school does not bill itself as such. As an alumnus, pastor, and conservative evangelical Christian, I am relunctant to endorse this school. | Starting Job: Pastor, Preparedness: B, Reputation: C- | | |
