THERE IS NO REASON TO MAKE WEEKY ACADEMIC ADVISING APPOINTMENTS. I EARNED A 3.0 GPA, and after further thinking I AM WALKING AWAY FROM APUS since no positive resolutions

Question
Classes are not challenging.Quite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Classes are not challenging. 98% is pure busy work. The forums are awful. Posts by peers are often off topic, nonsensical or just plain wrong and your grade will depend on your ability to respond. Professors do not provide redirection or make any attempt to correct this issue. I am halfway through my degree and ONE professor has bothered to call students out for off topic, incorrect or nonsense posts. This is made more frustrating by the fact that the school will not tell you the average gpa for your degree program. Hmmm, I wonder why that might be? Are all these people passing with flying colors when forums are worth 50% of your course grade and some people go an entire class without posting anything that actually answers the question posed?

Question
This review is based on my experience atBrightComputer Science
This review is based on my experience at APUS, having gained my AS in Computer Applications there. First, the classes, the system and the overall approach I like. Its simple, effective and the work is enough but not unapproachable for a working adult. That said, this review is negative because of the financial aide department. IT IS ABSOULUTLEY THE WORST I have ever encountered in the 38 years of my life. I cant go to school because they keep screwing shit up. Not to mention, they done my wife the same way so I know its not a fluke. Theres no inter office communication, so if you dont obtain one individual to deal with then you will constantly be repeating yourself day in and out submitting the same information 20 times and getting no where. Its utter ridiculousness.

So understand this - if I were reviewing the school based on the degree program, professors and the content then Im totally satisfied. However, Im not - Im submitting this review on the financial aide department - its ridiculous and is so frustrating I will not continue my education here. I was previously a DeVry student and I left because of the HUGE cost, I miss it. I guess you get what you pay for.
