Let me preface this comment by saying thatQuite Bright
Let me preface this comment by saying that Bethany does have some good things going for it. The teaching staff is incredible, and the campus is absolutely beautiful. Being in a secluded area, you have plenty of time to focus on important things like studying and getting involved in the college. However, most people take the opportunity of Bethany and waste it at Bubba's, the local bar. The dorms are in disrepair, and unsanitary; there is little lighting in most parts of the campus; the administration takes days to answer any question. The list of Bethany's shortcomings goes on and on. If you're an in-state student, it might be worth it, but don't waste $30,000 coming here.

Question
After reading some of the previous critiques ofQuite BrightOther
After reading some of the previous critiques of BC, I realize that the complaints mainly come from the Equestrian Program. (Ellen Fischer is a really difficult person to get along with and basically ruined lives and educations)

The new facility that they use is absolutely beautiful with wonderful people. The trainers are top notch, and offer great opportunities now, and in the future.

Question
Bethany College is a complete waste of time.Business - Management and Administration
Bethany College is a complete waste of time. There is absolutely nothing to do except drink and do drugs. The teachers are about 2 years older than the freshman attending. I think that I learned basically nothing the entire time I was there. The buildings are completely run down and falling apart not to mention the wonderful fuzzy mold growing out of the vents in the shower. Oh, and if you are planning to eat, dont do it a Bethany, they have the most disgusting food I have ever had. There was also multiple rapes and virtually no lighting on campus. I went there for the equestrian program, and that went nowhere fast. To say the least that place is a financial drain with absolutley no gain.
