As an international student i was faced withSuper BrilliantFinance
As an international student i was faced with thoughts of fear and self doubt before i came to the University of Charleston. I was going to become a part of a new culture and new surroundings and i did not know what to expect. Thankfully i chose the perfect school to go to. From the moment i arrived at UC i was greeted by friendly faculty and even friendlier students. My first year experience was a very smooth transition because of the help from my peer educator and mentor. You will be hard pressed to find another school where there is this much emphasis put on knowing the students rather than treating students as if they were a number. Not only have i been able to be extremely involved on campus but also translate my hard work ethic into the Charleston community. This is definitely the school to go to if one is looking for a city that will be able to accommodate their internship and work needs. In addition, i became a part of Greek life on campus; Greek Life has made a steady improvement as the years have gone on and there is a healthy competition among Greeks to create the best events on campus and have more students involved. Overall this school only stands to get better and i am truly blessed to have been able to grow as a person at the University of Charleston.

As a current undergraduate student at the UniversityBrightPublic Policy
As a current undergraduate student at the University of Charleston, I am very happy with the UC Experience I have had the past two years. This school, unlike others, caters to the individual needs of the students in order for them to receive the education they desire. I will be graduating a year early as a double major with a minor. I do not believe that advisors from large universities work with their students enough in order for them to achieve such. My professors are all friendly, approachable, and well skilled in their areas of profession. I am also very active in extracurricular activities on campus and know for a fact that an event is scheduled on UC's campus at least every night and sometimes several per night. There are numerous activities hosted on the University of Charleston's campus that cater to a variety of student interests. I am in a sorority on campus as well, and can say for a fact that Greek life here is going strong. The only groups that have left campus were ones that violated the strict hazing policy that UC enforces. Greek life right now is at the top of its game and we do have a national fraternity on campus. As a whole my experience at UC has been phenomenal and I would not transfer schools if I had the chance.

The UC executive MBA program gave me aBusiness - Management and Administration
The UC executive MBA program gave me a new set of tools for my management position. The curriculum was challenging but not impossible to squeeze in with a full-time job. The program really improves your business analysis and public speaking skills, and you make good friends among the other students and the faculty.
