This University does not practice what it preaches.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
This University does not practice what it preaches. The school encourages innovation and new ideas but if you are a Type A person who wants to make a difference it is nearly impossible. Students here do not get along at all and it is way more clicky than High School. Most students are athletes and if you're not an athlete forget ever getting any real perks. Also, athletes only hang out with their teammates and going outside of their groups is almost never seen. Greek life is hated at the University and every effort it taken to shut it down. Sad because as a Greek I have seen the opportunity for great things, but no one will buy into the idea, because everyone has their own ideas. I commend the new Innovation person as she is trying to do cool things, but I don't see her staying long. Had an awesome dean of students, he had great ideas, and really pushed for change but left. Probably because he had way better opportunities elsewhere. Administration only cares about incoming students. They work hard as hell to get you there and then forget about you. Unless you can really make a name for yourself, there is no hope of opportunity. It is truly sad that UC is thought of as a prestigious school, but in all reality is a conservative, traditional, clicky high school.

UC is the WORST school I have everQuite BrightNursing
UC is the WORST school I have ever attended. As a matter of fact, I only went for a few weeks because one nursing professor, Ms. Layne, insulted me on several occasions during clinical. Now UC is trying to charge me $10,000 for the horrible experience! I have a bachelor's degree from another college (I am almost a straight A student); I have had many professors, and I have never complained before. All of the professors I have had in the past treated me with kindness and never denigrated or demeaned me (like Ms. Layne). I strongly advise anyone considering this school to stay away - especially the nursing department.

This is not a college experience! This isQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
This is not a college experience! This is another high school. Students have nothing to do at all in their free time. The food is absolutely terrible and they are cutting back on the food budget next year! How that is possible I don't know. They have 3 different campuses but can't even take care of their first campus. The head of the administration is full of stuck of snobs. Student-athletes are the majority of the school, but few want to even be here. What makes it worse is that it is difficult to transfer credits out of here so they trap you in until you graduate and ruin your college experience. The new athletic director seems like a nice friendly person but loves to try to get as many people as possible busted for drugs using drugs tests at least once a month on their student athletes, which I could understand IF they could at least provide us quality food and not using the money instead for drug tests. This place is an absolute waste. I would never recommend this school for anyone. PARENTS if you want your child to have a successful college experience DO NOT send your child here your wasting your time and money.
