Nursing looks promising despite economic woe
by Guardian
Jan 13, 2009
“The field of nursing looks promising, even in this troubled economy. Student reviews Bernard Porter and modern Imperialistic themes
by Guardian
Jan 13, 2009
“The thesis of Bernard Porter's Empire and Superempire: Britain, America and the World is that America is not only an empire, but, particularly since 9/11, a superempire. The author, while admitting that the terms "empire" and "superempire" are contentious and shift over time, explains his thesis by comparing British imperialism to American imperialism.”

Music review
by Guardian
Jan 13, 2009
“Record shelves usually see a drop in quality in the few weeks following the Christmas boom. This is partly due to the fact most artists find it easier to sell records before the holiday season. Although the start of 2009 fails to be the exception to the rule, there are a few releases this week worthy of mentioning.”
