A top ten three years in the making
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“So here we are: our last issue. It's pretty unbelievable, after two, for some of us, three, years of spending our Tuesday nights devoted to The Weekly, we find ourselves writing our very last editorial. Although we could say a hundred things, we decided to continue this semester's tradition of the top ten.”

They Love Me, They Love Me Not
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“Osama bin Laden was one of America's most despised people for many years and when news of his death spread the public reacted with jubilance. On a much, much, much lesser scale of significance, we can look at sports figures that attract the scorn, jeers and general hate from the majority of fans.”

White Orchids: a Thai place to eat
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“Yes, we all know that the school year is coming to an end and that everyone is stressed and excited for finals to be over. We are all on the same page as we are all ready to enjoy a relaxing summer break.
With just one week left, I suggest in between studying for finals that you and your friends venture off to the Promenade Shops for a break and check out White Orchids.”

by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“On Fri., the Mule Softball Team was at practice when the skies opened up and rain began to fall. The coaches wanted to move the practice indoors, but the players insisted on staying outside until the shower passed. It eventually did, and the Mules came out of practice soaking wet.”

Ask the Panda Girl:
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

“Dear Panda Girl-
I have serious senioritis, and I'm only a sophomore. How can I get my butt back on track? Finals are coming up, and I just can't bring myself to care all that much.
-Brilliant but Lazy

One Colorful Night At Muhlenberg
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“This past Mon., Live in Color, the College's very own show choir, put on their very last performance of the year. As a dynamic and energetic group, Live in Color, never fails to deliver an exciting performance.
At 7:00 pm, in the Event Space, students, faculty, and family members gathered in the space to listen to the program.”

Mikey Angel hypnotizes Muhlenberg
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“On Sat. Apr. 30, hypnotist Mikey Angel hosted a show in the Event Space, where he hypnotized about 30 students out of the 100 person audience. Prior, to Angel's show, there was controversy among the college student as to whether or not they actually believed in hypnosis and what exactly Angel would be doing at his show.”

Some food for thought
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“It's not surprising that one of the most cited pillars of American democracy is the freedom of speech. The idea of one having the right to openly express his or her opinions without interference from the government or societal pressures has been ingrained into our brains and school curricula.”

Celebrity Apprentice: presidential ginger
by The Muhlenberg Weekly

Jan 01, 2013
“America can finally move on past the horrors of its recent past. We now know for certain that our president is not the Muslim Kenyan that we knew, but that he was born in Hawaii, as he originally claimed. President Obama had tried to hide his birth certificate for the public based on the idea that "it wasn't a big deal," but finally released his full birth certificate due to pressure from one man.”
