Stolen base record in reach for NT duo

Freshman outfielder Megan Rupp and sophomore Mariza Martinez are both currently one steal shy of the Mean Green record for steals in the single season of 17 and a steal by either of the two during the Sun Belt Conference Tournament would give them the record.”

“The NT track and field team had one of its most productive meets of the season at the fifth annual Mean Green Twilight Invitational Thursday, grabbing 10 first place finishes and earning 12 more regional qualifying marks. The Mean Green closed out its regular season at Fouts Field, leaving the conference, regional and national meets, where the team hopes to maintain the momentum gained throughout the season.”
