Track and Field excels at Conference by The OmnibusJan 01, 2013“The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats finished the 2011 MIAA Championships Sunday afternoon in Emporia and came away with some spectacular finishes. The women's 4x100 and 4x400 relay's took second place in the meet, earning all-conference honors, and on the men's side sophomore Phillip Miller took second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, earning all-conference honors.”

After a conference championship, the women swept the MIAA awards and claimed nine All-MIAA selections. The men, who finished second at Conference, earned eight All-MIAA selections.”
