Bennington college is small, and not very multicultural. There are inherent limitations in this setup, however, it is also extremely liberal and ther personal attention is exceptional. I think that the environment is great for someone with a lot of enthusiasm and direction. It is also a good school for gay men and women. I am not gay, but there is a large percentage of gay men and women at Bennington, and little to no prejudice.
