I honestly think Calvin is a wonderful college. Although getting in is easy, staying in is the harder part. It is academically challenging and excellent. The way Calvin integrates quality academics and a Christian worldview is excellent. It is true that it is not incredibly racially diverse, however, I have seen a lot of effort to change this. Student life at Calvin is exactly what you CHOOSE it to be. There are a lot of lifestyle Christians that haven't yet made their walk with Jesus personal. However, if you seek after it you can find amazing, on fire Christians. I had ana mazing community of friends and grew unbelieveable amounts personally and in my walk with the Lord at Calvin.
