    I suggest that students 13 to 18,use the time before H.S.grad. to save money into one larger lump sum. You will never again have such an unfettered time to accumulate dollars. Do not spend the lump sum. Capitalize on others willingness to bill you later(month, year).You must always pay every bill before it is due. Education and lump sum dollars is the foundation that choices are built on. The rest is up to you,not circumstances which drive your limited options.
