    Concordia is exactly what you make of it. (Trite but true.) Effort ventured is rewarded. Starting out, the administrative policies were virtually unbearable, but now they are a lot more workable from what I hear. Too much money is spent on campus "image," but it does result in a beautiful campus. The professors are fantastic, especially in the philosophy department. They are so enlightening and encouraging! Plus, the library staff is the tops! Use the reference desk for help on any project -- it will pay off.

    I don't know if I would have had much luck finding a job now if I didn't have external work experience, though. A lot of my fellow Concordia grads are working crap jobs -- just a warning to you lib art majors. Consult the Career Center and have a back-up plan!

    If you are sensitive at all to the cold, you are sunk. (Winter winds are nasty.) Plus, while I was there, a lot of my friends complained about closed-mindedness and intolerance, but I found that the small size of the school encouraged campus-wide dialogues on ethics, which were always interesting.
