This University pretty much destroyed any positive attitude I may have had towards life. After being lied to for 4 years, with promise of a good job after I graduated, their Career Services department gave such horrible help. Their idea of "Career Councling" is sitting you infront of a F*#King computer and looking at jobs through websites. The diploma I got doesnt even have the god damned major on it. You will learn at LHU that your best chance for beating death another day is to get a job as a teller at a bank or a gas station attendent. If you want to get a good job after high school, go to trucking school. If you dont you end up on the unemployment line, like me, hoping the next check you get from the Department Of Labor will be able to pay your student loans. Honestly, if you are not from a rich family or don't know anyone who can help you get a good job if you had a degree, dont go to school. Get a job at walmart, just enough to pay the rent and the doctor bills. Do not, I REPEAT DO NOT, let the delusion that society has that everyone should be educated warp your mind. Face the facts. You were born into working class, you will die in working class. If your dad or mom slaves away at a hopeless, go-no where job that does nothing but drain their soul but at the same time fills the wallets of the corporate elite, YOUR FATE IS THE SAME. NO AMOUNT OF EDUCATION WILL CHANGE THE FACT THAT SOCIETY DEEMS YOU NOT WORTHY OF BEING FINANCIALLY WELL OFF. On the bright side, millions of people are in your boat. One of them is probably your soul mate. You two will meet and create the next generation of mindless, hopeless workers whose soul will be crushed with the only real good thing that happens to them is when they finally croak because their boss had them work 12 hours overtime a week. Oh, and no they wont pay your overtime. Thanks to the restructuring over federal over time laws, one of the few things that gives you a glimpse of happyness has now been snatched away from you. Try to fight it and enjoy "jobless recovery." Maybe you would fight it by voting, but you cant afford the gas to put in your car to get the voting both. Welcome to the real world high school grads. Enjoy.
