    Converse was the best fit for me. I came from a large, public high school in which a select group of students held all the positions. Converse is a very welcoming environment in which everyone has the opportunity to get involved. Small classes allow you to speak out and actually get the education you are paying for. You are challenged and intrigued by the marvelous faculty. There were a lot of opportunities on and off campus. I was never without a date- between my roommate and hallmates' brothers, friends, cousins, and boyfriends' friends we were set. Converse is located in a beautiful city that sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You are close enough to drive to Charleston for the day or Asheville, Charlotte, or Atlanta. There is not one thing that I would change about Converse, Spartanburg, or my college experience. I LOVED it!
