I entered ECPI with doubts. That quickly changed before my first 2 classes were over. I loved the structure of the curriculum, how they start you at the beginning with basics and history. All mostly vocabulary that you're afraid you're not retaining. Then closer to midway into the curriculum they start introducing you to various software, operating systems, and hardware, and all of a sudden those vocab words come back. By the end of the curriculum, you have a crystal clear picture of networking. It doesn't, by any means, set you up for a $50,000 a year job, but they certainly teach you enough to understand the lingo and get out and land your first, usually entry-level job. But then I learned college is only the beginning. I've learned 5 times more since then, but it could never be done without the knowledgeable and professional instructors getting me up to speed at ECPI. You get as much personal attention as you ask for, all the books you'll need, and all hardware. Small classes allow plenty of easy-paced learning. Well worth the money and straight and to the point vs. a degree program at a university where you'd waste your time and possibly lose interest with the irrelevant classes like English, physics, biology etc. I'm 23yrs old now working at IBM and making $22/hr. Not bad for only being out of school 4 years. 3 thumbs up
