Time for Geno DeMarco to hang it up! A third straight losing season! Does Geneva have a 20 & out retirement plan? We could only hope! Maybe someone can weasel a way into a job like DeMarco did. Geno Demarco had his younger brother David help railroad Gene Sullivan out of the head coaching job by passing around a petition with teammates twenty years ago. Will the chickens come home to roost? We can only hope! Time for reformation at Geneva. A college that has abandoned its roots to embrace "diversity" and "multiculturalism" and whatever the latest buzz words are for what is hip and flashy to the world to attract more students and greenbacks to the coffers. Wonder if the same drive for excellence that "motivated" Dave DeMarco to help railroad out a great coach and good man like Gene Sullivan will motivate some current players to start talking and circulating a petition to find a new coach who will perform. Watch out though anyone who considers this who is a current player or student! Geneva is all about cronyism and nepotism and the environment there is almost clannish or cult like where if you don't drink the Kool-Aid you face scorn and possible exile. Geneva needs a real reformer and time will tell if the current president is able to man up and make it happen or if he is going to be one of the many man pleasers who keeps on going on with the status quo.
