I applied and was accepted and received a summer grant. I do not recommend this university to other students. The first week of school my class was told that two students that would succeed in this program had already been selected. The instructors are condesending and not helpful. Consider a public university instead where you can get much more help and a better overall education. If you decide after attending 1-2 years that this is not for you be prepared that NONE of your credits will transfer to any other 4 year institution.

Application Fee (to process your paperwork, allows them to review your transcripts, gives you access to your own personal admissions advisor, financial aid advisor, and housing). It's only $100 and is good for up to two years. Hell even without the application fees you have a handful of people to answer your questions. Challenge them and ask and say what's on your mind!

Registration fee of which $100 is a tuition deposit and goes directly towards your own tuition. $20 registration fee (administrative fee) and $20 student service fee...helps cover your advocate, sports teams, clubs, etc.

If you have a pulse, you can get into AAU. They just want your money.

I paid the $140 registration/"school activity" fee to get in. There was no portfolio, letters of recommendation or personal statement required to get in (aka, no talent or proof of determination to be accepted). If you have lots of money, are going to be fully supported by your well-off parents, or are willing to work full-time while in school, then you will probably make it through the program.
