I applied. I didn't really have to do much but prove I had decent SAT scores and supply high school transcripts. Even though it is a relatively inexpensive school I applied for aid. It is amazingly easy every semester.
I was an extremely active student in highschool. One thing that I specifically did that I think helped me get into college was to take part in a summer program at a university that taught me the basics of engineering and helped me decide that I wanted to study engineering in college. I feel that since I was more directed and took things into my own hands showed alot to the universities that I was a dedicated student. Other than that it is good to have a wide variety of asperations and experiences. The more experienced you are in life the stronger you will be as a student.
