All you have to do to get in is be reasonably bright and do all the things academically inclined middle-class kids are supposed to do: do well in AP classes and study for your SATs. I did neither of those things, which tells a lot about who I am and might explain why I felt so out of place there.
If you get a good score on your SAT, you are automatically granted a huge scholarship and entrance into the Honors College program. Study hard and pass your SATs because the scholarship really helps!
