I did absolutely nothing to get into this schoolJul 03 2012Art & Design Department
I did absolutely nothing to get into this school. Let me break it down for you in the simplest way: These schools are profit driven. The admissions department deploys strategies to get people into the school regardless of wether or not they can pay for it. And the case more often than not is that these poor, underprivileged children get conned into enrolling and taking on these high interest loans and then dropping out three quarters in. The school has actually let in people that do not technically qualify for college education. They either did not meet the gpa requirements (which were manipulated later to look better) or they failed the placement test (Compass) multiple times and were still let in.

The bottom line is: The Art Institutes are only interested in your money. They will let anyone into the school as long as they can make some kind of payment. And if they end up dropping out it doesn't matter because as long as the Admissions department meets it's quota, it's all good to them.

I don't recommend even applyingMar 11 2012Other
I don't recommend even applying. But, if you must, don't worry. It is really easy to get in. I got accepted with a 2.8 GPA. They will do anything necessary to get you in because the admissions staff relies on students enrolling so they keep their jobs.
Anybody can get into this schoolJul 07 2011Design Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc
Anybody can get into this school. I mean anyone. The school is dumb expensive, but people will claim they have little to no income and you'll still get in because they don't care about you. Just make sure you really think about it before you sign your life away. Do I recommend others to get in? Hell no. I wish I had read these reviews before I jumped up and got in.

You don't have to take the SAT's to get inJun 04 2011Music - Composition/Theory
You don't have to take the SAT's to get in. You don't have to take the ACT's to get in. You barely have to know how to read to get in. You just have to prove that you can pay for it. It is ridiculously expensive, and will leave you in extreme debt. Which is just like most other schools, except this is one that will give you a meaningless degree in return.
