I would recommend visiting the campus and planning an overnight to get a feel for the University. You do not know anything until you are here and learn from the people who call Alfred University their home away from home.

I recommend joining a club or senate or a team sport. Its a great way to meet people. I ended making some really great friends. For a small school it does know how to party, and some Alfred people party too hard, but in the end its all about finding the balance.

Alfred loves well rounded people. Good SAT and ACT scores are important, as are GPA, but extra-cirricular activites go a long way. Alfred likes its students to get involved in the University and become leaders of tomorrow.
