I'm in the Early Honors Program, which is where students can skip there senior year and take a full class schedule at APU and still graduate. I had to do an online application, essay, reccomendations, and interview, and then orientation. It was a long process, but it shows APU doesn't let just anyone in, like UAA. I reccomend other students get everything done early, and just be yourself at the interview.

i would apply and show a lot of interest, this is a great university that accepts the only the brightest minds. There are very few schools that are as special as APU. the relationships that can be developed with the professors and future employers is exceptional. I would not recommend APU if you are looking to cruise through school without trying. you et from this school exactly what you put into it. If you are willing to work hard, i have seen people make headlines in the alaska news, but if you are a slacker there is nothing to gain from APU (or any other school for that matter). While there may be alot of negative reviews out there i can PROMISE, that if you are interested in furthering yourself, furthering your relationship wiht the out doors and furthering society, APU is the school or you. I am doing a double major and i can safely say that while being at this school, i have been the happiest i have been in my whole life.
