You don't have to do anything special to get into APU, if you are willing to pay the 40,000 a year they will let you come here. I have never heard of anybody being denied from APU.

APU is very easy to get into, but there are some things you can do to make your experience better. Students with a 3.9 high school GPA are eligible to apply for the Trustees scholarship. Even if you are only selected as a finalist (40 people per year) you will receive $14,000 off of tuition every year. Also, if you take AP tests and get a 3 or higher, you can get out of a lot of general requirements, which leaves room for studying abroad, an extra minor, or whatever else you want to do.
