I do not think is highly difficult to get in. Actually, that is my main issue with this school. Be more selective!

It's really not that hard to get in...just have a respectable gpa and SAT, show interest, and have a strong statement of faith and you should be golden. The great thing is that when you get in, the sky is the limit because several of the departments (namely Science, Business, Nursing & Theology) offer top-notch education! Especially if you continue to graduate school. Some of the other departments are great.. especially the Music and Theatre departments, but try and get a job straight out of school with a Communications or Art degree.

The application process at APU is pretty typical -- write a few essays and take the SAT and/or ACT (I would take both, since some people do better on one than the other).
My only real piece of advice here is to make sure you look into scholarships, since there are plenty available and APU is a fairly expensive school.

I worked my butt off in high school, and APU rewarded me for it with some great scholarships. Study hard & take the ACTs (or SATs) as many times as you have to. Seriously though, visiting the campus is the best thing you can do as a high schooler. Get to know your admissions counselor, they're really rad and they treat you like a real person... unlike at some other schools I applied to.
