I did very well in high school, but INov 09 2010Undecided
I did very well in high school, but I probably only needed to commit to half the effort I put into my high school grades to get into ASU. However, I've heard that it has become more difficult to get in because of the popularization of our football team.

I transferred to ASU from my local community college,Oct 25 2010History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I transferred to ASU from my local community college, and was accepted after three weeks of sending in application and transcripts. Applying as a freshmen is hard to get into the college because of numerous applicants. Since all the championships won over the past five years, there is an overflow of applications. Last fall, ASU received over 12,000 applications, and only 2300 open spots for freshmen. Some of my friends had to wait a semester before they could get in.
I personally love the University, the professors are willing to help you, and I have made lasting friendships with students with faculty, professors and students. There are a few professors who are a little nut case, but over all, 99% of professors have made an impact in my educational studies. I want to teach at ASU one day. I love the beautiful campus, mountain views, and all four seasons. I cannot say enough. You can take a lot of classes in traditional mountain music, mountain dance, bluegrass, country, Appalachian Studies and more. I attended two colleges before I found the college I am suppose to be. The majority of the students wish they could return after graduation. I love it here.
I got in easily with 4Sep 14 2010History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I got in easily with 4.2 GPA and 1300 SAT score.
SAT: 1300 Female
App accepts only 18% of applicants, it's harder toFeb 06 2010Art & Design Department
App accepts only 18% of applicants, it's harder to get into than you'd think. Campus on a mountain = no room to accomodate a lot of students. I don't remember the application too well. I just remember that I had a very high SAT score (1920) and average-y grades in high school (some As, some Bs, a couple Cs in math.) no need to have been an honor roll student throughout high school.
SAT: 1920 Female
I had no problem transferring to ASUOct 29 2009History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I had no problem transferring to ASU. I started my studies at a community college, and tried two regular four year colleges which I hated (Like Catawba College & UNCG).I sent my application and transfer credits to ASU, and in four weeks I received an acceptance letter. The faculty and staff have gone out of their way to help me and make the transition very smooth.
