GPA of above 3Mar 21 2005Accounting
GPA of above 3.5 and SAT above 1350 should do the job.
ACT: 32 SAT: 1490 Female
I scored a 1560 on SAT and hand a GPA of 3Mar 17 2005Computer Science
I scored a 1560 on SAT and hand a GPA of 3.4. I strongly recommend that have SAT's above 1350 mark and a good GPA with lot's of activities and you should be in the top 15% of your class at LEAST, as AU's enrolling Fall 2005 class will be the most competative, also, AU is dramatically for the first time reducing it's acceptance rate, making it much more competative.
ACT: 33 SAT: 1560 Male
Well...I had a C average and got into theMar 16 2005Undecided
Well...I had a C average and got into the honors prog. That said, I had almost 700 V on my SAT's and I took a lotta AP's. I would definitely try getting in if I had low GPA but score well on tests.
SAT: 1190 Female
AU is getting very selectiveMar 06 2005Business - Management and Administration
AU is getting very selective. My SAT score was above 1400, with a GPA of 3.8, so if you plan to enroll for Fall 2005, make sure your SAT scores are pretty good, because AU's entering fall freshman class of 2005 will be the most competative so far, with more than 16000 applicants, and on the other hand AU is rapidly raising it's ranking and endowment, making it challenging.
ACT: 33 SAT: 1550 Male
Do we reject people? Every person I know ofMar 02 2005Other
Do we reject people? Every person I know of from my high school got in.
However, there is an honors program which you need a 1400+ to get into (hence I didn't). There are amazing scholarships, I got 12K/year to go here (I didn't even apply for financial aid, it was pure merit). Take plenty of APs. I came here with 30 ap credits, got out of the math requirement, and got out of 4 or 10 Gened classes.
If you show some any sign of intelligence you will get in, but having a good HS transcript has a lot of perks.
