Essay (7) | 1) Stay involved in High School sports/clubs (the college's student body is very athletic, with most students playing at least one varsity sport in high school)2) Take high-level AP courses and succeed in them 3) Be sure to mention your volunteer work on your application, and write your college essay about something very dear to you- BC looks for the whole package 4) Don't worry about below-average SAT scores- again, BC looks at everything Communications
| Dec 11 2009 | I was involved in as many extracurricular activities as possible, performed well in school, volunteered, played a sport, and did well on the SATs. I had a very high GPA, very high SATs, was the captain of a varsity sports team, etc. etc. I didn't spend much time volunteering in high school but if you want to get accepted, I recommend that you make sure you have at least 30 hours because volunteering is big at BC.
