I followed my interests as much as I couldNov 01 2006Psychology
I followed my interests as much as I could in High School and didn't just take the classes I was "supposed" to take to beef up the transcripts.
Requirements seem to be getting more rigorous, no longerOct 15 2006Undecided
requirements seem to be getting more rigorous, no longer can you just show passion, I think admissions wants to see that you can really cut it academically and that you can handle the independence that is required.
ACT: 31 SAT: 1370 Female
The SAT/ACT scores really don't matter that much overallAug 28 2006Language - French/Spanish/etc.
The SAT/ACT scores really don't matter that much overall. The grades are impportant, but most of what they seem to like and look at are the evaluations, personal essay, and supplementary material. My roommate worked in Admissions, reading the applications, and she would always really remember and like the more creative (sometimes almost bizarre) submissions.
ACT: 32 SAT: 1350 Female

like everywhere else it is getting harder to get in, but showing that you understand the philosophy and academic structure still really counts for a lot.
