The admissions process is a joke with my admissions rep trying to make me feel as though I were applying to Harvard. I had to jump through numerous hoops to prove my "worthiness" but when it came time for me to get answers to all my questions, I couldn't get a return phone call or any straight answers. My admissions rep repeatedly missed or blew off appointments we had set. It's a joke!

I did my homework and sought out my options before enrolling into Brooks. I recommend everyone do the same so all you have to focus on while you are there is their cirriculum.
Journalism
First you have to call in the school and be recommended by an advisor. Fill out some forms and write an eassy about how your presence will be benifical to the institute or why you deserve to be there.
Video/Media
I filled out a simple application and included a video demo reel of my work.

To get in you and you parent, provided that you are still considered their depent, have to write an essay as to why you should be accepted, complete a certain assignment, and also it is highly recommended that you have a sample of your work to show or your reel. If you do get in, it is a must that you have a car with good gas mileage.

Getting in isn't always the hard part. It is true, they won't take anyone with a high GPA, and you have to express a desire for your field (in my case, Film). It is usually the rigorous courses that weed the weak out.

I was recruited to get into Brooks, but that did not mean i was given any scholarships, i had to pay my way through.
