I sent in an application. The application does require references. The ACT is also a requirement. It is not difficult to get in if you have a desire to attend a Godly Bible-believing school. I would recommend that you work very hard in high school. Though their acceptance policy is fairly liberal when it comes to grades, they do not pass you just because you attended class. You have to be able to earn the grade even if that means taking the class over and over.
I applied. They let me in. If your grades aren't quite good enough, they'll put you on academic probation or let you enter their Institute, which is even more useless than a high school diploma.
It was quite easy for me to enter Bob Jones University. But I had a high ACT score and high high school grades so I don't know what happens if you do not have high grades.
