It's extremely easy to get inMay 08 2013Computer Science
It's extremely easy to get in. Make sure you do well on your SATs though, because it'll let you skip math and english classes.

I applied. And then I jumped through several contradictory and arbitrary administrative hoops to satisfy some public employee bureaucrat's need for self-validation.

Took the G.E.D. and COMPASS tests, then transferred from a community college.

I just appliedMay 26 2008Civil Engineering
I just applied. It was pretty easy since I had already gone to another college previously. Even without college coursework my SAT and high school gpa would allowed me to get in. All I can recommend is that you get a solid background in math and science in high school. Really apply yourself and take some challenging courses because college is twice as hard no matter what you major in!

If you want to go to nursing school and can't get in at BSU apply at University of Eastern Oregon in La Grande. The tuition at that school is the same instate or out of state for ALL students. One student I know who was the shy, quiet type really excelled there in Chemistry. Not much happens at EOU so for some students it's the way to go. Others would be bored silly.

The best advice I can give is apply earlyFeb 08 2006Business - Management and Administration
The best advice I can give is apply early. There's a scholaship deadline and the extra money helped. Take the ACT during the summer after junior year and maybe again in early fall.
