Reconsider a different collegeApr 01 2018Other
Reconsider a different college. Don't assume that general descriptions will give an accurate idea of what the course is going to be about. Research the heck out of it so you know what questions you need to ask because the staff assumes you work in academic bureaucracy every day of your life like they do and very few will help you when they see you don't understand.

DON'T listen to the admissions counselors!!! Especially if you're doing an online cohort. They will lie and tell you anything you want to hear to get you enrolled. They lied about the total cost of the program as well and suddenly now it's costing me $4,000 extra.

I enrolled as part of my employers PBOL program. This was exceptional because there were teammates from all areas of the company which allows me to take a further dive into knowledge I would not have access to otherwise.

I had 10 credits before enrolling. I know that you can come in with zero and work your way through but it was comforting to know that tje credits I had transfered.
