I applied online with a fee waiver and submitted two letters of recommendation. I recommend a strong essay depending on the topic they ask for, and quite a few extracurriculars from your high school resume.
GPA and test scores certainly matter, but if your close just be sure to show why you really want to go to Canisius. If you want to go to a college where you will really learn something than explain that in you essay and wherever else you have a chance. I would discourage you from applying if u dont take academics seriously...the classes are no joke. But overall, just show that you are genuinely interested in the school and why.
Make sure that you go above and beyond the requirements for the particular school in which you are interested. If the application says an essay is recommneded, do it. If the application says only two recommendations are necessary, get four. Show the school of your dreams how badly you want to be accepted. Stop at nothing to show that school what an asset you would be to that campus. Good Luck! :)
