I started off at a community college and then transferred to Colby Sawyer. I went to the community college for 2 years, and it saved me 1 year of tuition at CSC. I am graduating a year late, but I don't mind so much. It saved me some money in the end. Most of my classes transferred over too. But if you are interested in the route, make sure you talk with the people at CSC and your community college to see if your credits will transfer and what requirements they will transfer over as.

I visited campus a few times before making a decision. I visited when students were on campus and when students were on their summer break. It gave me a feel how the campus was both ways. I also attended accepted students day which allowed me to feel welcomed and allowed me to make my schedule and meet classmates.
