I applied and got it in while I was a senior in high school, but I decided to go to film school first for a year. After I graduated, I applied again and got accepted again. I'm glad I didn't go to Champlain College right after high school because I would have been more naive and not have known the value I could be getting with my money.

I applied to the college, had my transcripts sent. Admissions told me they would review my unofficial transcripts for me. I just completed an AS in Computer Information Technology from Soutern NH University and before that I had earned a Certificate in Web Design and Development from UMass Lowell. I am a working adult who works in the field that I want to go to college for. A bachelors in Web Development / Design. They reviewed my credits and told me they would only accept 50% of my credits. So instead of being 19 classes away from a bachelors degree, I would be 30 classes! They said sorry we didn't meet your expectation. I am floored with how unwilling they were to work with credits and my experience.
