Shape your portfolio around the behavior of the faculty. Faculty members are very focused on a out-of-style design form that you must be polite of.

Strange admissions processMay 14 2009Art & Design Department
Strange admissions process. Here are the numbers last I heard:
20 % admitted to fine arts
30% to graphic design
20% to film/video
28% to photography
18% to character animation

Students aren't admitted based on grades or ACT scores, it's only based on the portfolio. So, there are lots of people who flunked math in high school and can't put a sentence together but are really good artists. The liberal arts teachers tend to get frustrated about that, but it's an arts specialty school so I'm not sure what else they were expecting.
SAT: 1930 Female
