Applied online. Easy application without an essay. I was a community college transfer student to the Business school with a 3.41 gpa. Since the Business Admin major is impacted they require you to send in your transcripts to verify that you have completed certain classes, but do it early and you will be admitted very quickly.
Biology
I didn't have amazing grades, but I had decent SAT scores. This school is more selective than people expect it to be, but most people could still probably get in so long as their grades and SATs are okay.

AP classes are not that big of a deal when trying to get in this school, but they do help out a lot as 3s and above count.

hehe, i jus walked in and handed my transcrips while i was still in H.S... they have an open enrollment day for locals and they accepted my on the spot in about 20 mins.

Start planning a year before you plan to attend. They most likely will require paperwork that far in advance b/c that's about how fast they work.

Industrial Operations Engineering
It's a CSU and by California state law it is not supposed to be this ultra-exclusive instition like UC or Stanford. So you don't have to have an incredibly high gpa as a transfer student. Just make sure you get the critical courses complete as soon as possible!
