I got decent grades and did not need an SAT as it is test optional. It is not difficult at all to get into Clark.

I described my passion in every way possible -Jul 27 2013Psychology
I described my passion in every way possible - though the essay and the application short answer essays. I described to them how much I love Clark. I told them that I wanted to help Worcester instead of run away from it (which ended up a blow, because the volunteer opportunities they originally brag seem to dwindle once you're actually on campus). I earned mostly B's in high school and took a lot of AP classes. I also participated in a lot of sports in high school. I hated high school, but I just bullshitted what I could to earn my way to where I am now, happy.

I was not the best student academically in highAug 12 2011Psychology
I was not the best student academically in high school, but fortunately Clark recognized my potential and I got in. My suggestion for students who might be a B or C studente but KNOW that you can do better, is to consider Clark. Show Clark that you are unique, have interesting things to offer, and how Clark will help you reach your dreams, and this will be a better approach to those applicants who may be A students, have great SAT's, and who on paper look great, but otherwise dont have much to offer. Its more about intelligence that is not measured by a test, but a more sophisticated and passionate approach to life. For those future Clarkies that are go-getters and have that special spark, then consider this school over others, even if you are afraid you dont have the grades to get in. I am glad that I found Clark. You will be too.
