Creighton isn't as difficult to get into as you might think, but that is mainly due to the fact that in general the only people that apply are your "All-American do-it-all's." I would say for this school especially, be well rounded. They seem to like community service, sports (Almost everybody that I know was involved in at least one high school sport), and church involvement. Overall, don't stress out too much over grades and test scores if you're looking to get into Creighton. Instead, invest your time in extra-cirriculars and getting involved.

Just fill out the application. Seriously, Creighton has something like an 89% acceptance rate. If applying for honors, strong essays are the biggest key.

Being accepted to Creighton is not overly difficult. The important aspect of acceptance at Creighton is how big of a financial aid package they offer you. Creighton gives out tons of scholarships and finanical aid packages, but the amount given is very competitive. Students with higher academic achievement and more involvement in high school are much more likely to receive a large financial aid package in comparison to those with lower academic achievement or those who weren't as involved in high school.

Getting in wasn't extremely hard. If you are an above average student, Creighton will probably except you without a problem.

It is becoming more strict, but acceptance rates are around 75%. A higher caliber student usually applies to Creighton. Those that aren't that bright usually get weeded out within the first year. Core curriculum is comprehensive and tough!

Definitely be involved in numerous extracurricular activities in high school, admissions seems to love this. You should also score well on your SAT or ACT and have a pretty solid GPA. If you write a good essay and work hard, you can get in!

Creighton is not a hard school to get into, most students use it as a backup for Ivy's or schools like Notre Dame and Boston College, or they come here due to generous financial aid packages. If you are on the low end however (under a 2.5 GPA or 1000 SAT) I would definately talk to admissions and tell them why you want to come here. Tell them why this university can make a difference in your life, and make it very clear that you want to come here and are not using it as a backup. If you do that, I think you should be fine.
