I didn't do too much to get in. Make sure that you have AT LEAST ONE of the following: 1000 SAT score (math and verbal) and a 4.0 GPA on the non-weighted scale (about a 3.4 or above on the 4.0 scale). And apply early.

Make decent scores on the SAT and in your coursework in highschool. Allow yourself an adjustment period to the university if you don't immediately join a social greek group. Plan on having fun on gamedays but try to expand beyond that for weekend activities. This college is what you make out of it.
